Heard Here First: Carolina Liar

I promise a return to more regular updates after this week.

I doubt most of my readers watch The Hills on MTV...I don't either. But if anyone reading watched the episode from this past Monday, this song was played somewhere near the end I think

Carolina Liar - I'm Not Over




To be honest I know very little about the band; someone on their management team emailed me with links to this song and "Show Me What I'm Looking For". I'm pretty impressed with the music. Someone I talked to compared it to The Strokes, but I think it's got more energy than that. I love the melody and the guitar riff in the chorus. Both of the above mentioned tracks are available on iTunes right now, and Carolina Liar's debut album Coming to Terms drops June 3rd.
